The Rivers Trust Schools Hub

Use The Rivers Trust Schools Hub to take a virtual field trip down the river, learn about the exciting wildlife that call rivers home, investigate the reasons why and where rivers are not clean, explore how rivers are created and their effects on our landscape.

A place for teachers, students, and parents to find engaging content to help learn about rivers.

The resources found on this website have been created to help schools deliver lessons in Geography and meet National Curriculum criteria for Key Stages 2, 3, 4 & 5.

This resource was created with support from the WaterCo-Governance (WaterCoG) project under the Interreg North Sea Region VB programme, funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

Wildlife Watch with The Wildlife Trust

A wild website designed especially for children and parents, where children can work towards their Hedgehog Award, download tonnes of amazing activities and lots more.

Here you can find a resources section with downloads such as ringtones, posters, and spotter sheets, and a section for educational resources.

Additionally, get involved with The Wildlife Trust’s 30 Days Wild campaign, an annual nature challenge, to get people doing one wild thing a day throughout the whole of June.

Schools and families can sign up for a free downloadable pack to help them track and plan their month.
