Any organisation involved in river and catchment restoration in the UK can enter. The project or programme of projects you enter can be site or catchment scale and must have taken place in the UK. Projects can cover a range of techniques and objectives. Previous applicants have included catchment scale small stream Natural Flood Management programmes; urban volunteer-led in-channel restoration; site specific species or habitat focused schemes; multi-year programmes addressing physical modifications; and projects looking at rewilding.
The winner of the 2019 UK River Prize will be announced at the Awards Dinner on Tuesday April 30th 2019 at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool. The Awards Dinner coincides with the 20th RRC Annual Network Conference which is being held on April 30th and May 1st.
