In this 1hr webinar as part of the CaBA Biodiversity Series, join the Floodplain Meadows Partnership to discuss the role of species rich floodplain grasslands as a prime example of a nature-based solution that can deliver a range of eco-services.

The session will set out what floodplain meadows are and why are they such a good nature-based-solution in floodplain systems. It will highlight how community groups and others might map and understand the suitability of floodplain land for restoration including by using historic mapping, and will look at the practicalities of management and restoration of floodplain meadows including long term monitoring, providing practical advice on the farming practices and restoration techniques required to allow species rich wet grasslands to thrive.
